The website presents minute rates, namely:
- AED 1.40 per minute for Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Kona, Kia Seltos
- 1.70 dirhams per minute and Mazda CX5 car
The agreement stipulates that a separate fee may be charged during the trip as a fee for starting the trip. Unfortunately, it is not clear from the terms of the agreement what kind of payment and what procedure. However, the agreement states that you will see this information in the application.

Booking
This is done through the app. Up to 30 minutes of free booking are provided. However, the contract states that there is a charge of 8 AED for each booking.
Insurance and Liability
The driver must be at least 21 years old and have at least 6 months of driving experience. Ekar offers the opportunity to use additional drivers on your trip; you can simply indicate such a person when booking a car.
The car can be used by both local residents and tourists; the latter require, in addition to a passport, upon registration, to add a stamp about crossing the UAE border.
The car must be inspected before the start of the trip; if you notice damage, you must inform the car sharing operator about it. The most surprising thing is that the Offer Agreement describes what you tell the operator over the phone; as far as we can see from the agreement, the application does not provide for inspection procedures or informing the car sharing operator about the condition of the car.
The amount not covered by insurance is 3,000 AED, and for Tesla and Range Rover - 5,000 AED.
