The service follows a station-based model, meaning you must return the car to the same location where you picked it up.

Terms of Use

Shariot accepts drivers between the ages of 22 and 65, with at least one year of driving experience.
Foreign driver’s licenses are permitted only in accordance with Singaporean regulations.

Vehicles may be used within Singapore and West Malaysia.

Vehicle Deposit

Singaporean citizens are required to pay a deposit of 100 SGD, while foreigners must deposit 1,000 SGD.
The deposit is refunded only after the account is closed, and the processing time for the refund is 60 business days (around 90 calendar days).

Booking Cancellation

If a customer cancels a booking, the following fees apply:

  1. More than 48 hours before the rental – 0.80 SGD
  2. 24 to 48 hours before the rental – 40% of the total amount
  3. Less than 24 hours before the rental – 80% of the total amount
  4. 100% of the booking fee if the reservation was prepaid

Insurance, Penalties, and Liability

Drivers must return the car with the same fuel level as when it was picked up. Failure to do so results in a 40 SGD penalty.

User liability in the event of damage or an accident:

  1. Windshield damage – 200 SGD
  2. Vehicle damage (excluding glass) – 3,000 SGD
  3. Damage to third-party property, health, or life – 3,500 SGD

If the incident occurs in Malaysia, the user’s financial liability increases by 2,160 SGD.

An undeclared trip to Malaysia will result in a 500 SGD fine.
