The MILES carsharing service is available for individuals aged 18 and older, with no minimum driving experience required.

The service cost includes fuel, insurance, and city parking.

Pricing and Rates at MILES

MILES offers pricing based on the kilometers driven. Time is not billed while driving, but if you hold the car without using it, a per-minute fee applies.

Additionally, daily rates include a specific number of kilometers. Some rates come with prepaid kilometers.

Parking Per Minute:

MILES offers free car reservations for up to 10 minutes. Exceeding this time costs 0.09 euros per minute.

MILES operates in most German cities and expanded to Belgium in 2023.

Cities:

Germany: Berlin, Potsdam, Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Augsburg, Stuttgart, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Duisburg, Wuppertal, Solingen.

Belgium: Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent.

Users can use cars within cities or for intercity trips, including one-way journeys where cars are left in another city. International trips are also possible with special rates through the app.

Refueling

Users must refuel cars if the fuel level drops below 5%. For refueling, users receive a 5-euro bonus.

Insurance and Liability

All cars are insured. User responsibility in case of incidents (deductibles):

Special Features

Most MILES vehicles are black. An exception is cargo vans, which are often gray.

MILES vehicles sometimes suffer vandalism, where their logo is altered to read "MILFS." Some see this as a marketing stunt.
