How monthly car rental works
This is not daily rental stretched over thirty days, and not a lease with a three-year contract. You take the car month by month: pay for a month, extend as long as you need, and leave with two weeks notice.

If yours goes in for repair for more than a day, we bring another one. Rental companies charge for that; here it is in the rate.

Daily rental and monthly rental compared
Daily rental counts money by the day. When the days add up to thirty, the price stops being competitive and the conditions stop being convenient.

The price depends on the month
Demand for cars in Cyprus is three times higher in summer than in winter, and it is fairer to show that plainly than to bury a surcharge in the small print. With monthly rental you pay the price of the month you take.

Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum term?
One month. After that the contract renews itself for as long as you need the car — up to 12 months. If you need longer, we move you to leasing at a lower rate.
What documents do I need?
A passport, a driving licence and the deposit.
Not required: proof of income, credit history, Yellow Slip or bank statements!
How quickly can I leave?
Give two weeks notice, return the car and get the deposit back. There is no termination penalty.
What is in the payment?
Compulsory insurance and full cover, road tax, the MOT test, scheduled servicing, tyres and the seasonal changeover, and a replacement car during a long repair. You pay separately only for fuel, fines and mileage above the limit.
Is a security deposit required?
The deposit equals one monthly payment — not four to eight as leasing companies on the island ask, and not a hold on your card as in daily rental. It comes back when the contract closes.
Why is summer more expensive?
Demand for cars in Cyprus is three times higher in summer. We show seasonality openly: the price of a month is the price of that month, not an average with a hidden markup.
Can I drive to another country?
The car is insured for Cyprus. Taking it off the island is agreed separately.
What if I decide to keep the car?
We move you to rent to own: the payments go towards the car and at the end of the term it becomes yours.

Who needs rental by the month
Monthly car rental helps when daily rental is already expensive but a two-year lease is too early to sign. It is how people drive when they have just arrived in Cyprus and are still sorting out documents, when they are waiting for their own car to be delivered, or when they are here for a season or a project. You can rent a car by the month from us with a passport and a driving licence.
What the price covers
The payment covers everything except fuel and fines: compulsory insurance and full cover, road tax, the MOT test, scheduled servicing, tyres and a replacement car. In daily rental half of that list comes as separate charges, which is why a month there ends up costing more than the daily rate suggests.
How much monthly car hire costs
The price depends on the car and the month: demand in Cyprus triples in summer. The year-average price of a Toyota Yaris 1.0 is 459 € a month without VAT — in winter that is 202 €, in August noticeably more. We name the exact figure for the month you need when you get in touch.
Monthly rental or long-term rental
If the term is clear and the car is needed for longer than three months, leasing works out cheaper: the payment is flat for the whole term because we do not price in the risk of the car standing idle between clients. All programmes side by side are on the long-term rental page.

Monthly rental is available in Larnaca and Limassol. The fleet is Japanese: Toyota Aqua and Yaris, Mazda 2 and Nissan Note — new and with up to 50,000 kilometres.
