What car leasing in Cyprus means
We work as an operating lease: the car stays in Getmancar ownership, you pay for using it and simply hand it back at the end. This is not a loan and not a purchase in instalments — no bank, no proof of income, no credit history involved.
A fixed payment
The rate is written in the contract for the whole term. If insurance or parts go up, that is our problem — your payment does not move.
Compulsory costs inside
Insurance, road tax and the MOT test are arranged by us. Full cover, servicing and tyres are added if you want them.
Deposit — one payment
Not four or eight, as leasing companies on the island usually ask. Refunded when the contract closes.
You can hand the car back
At the end you owe nothing and are not left with a car to sell yourself. Want to keep it — we move you to the buy-out programme.

Leasing or buying with a loan
The difference is not in the interest rate but in what you own at the end and how much paperwork you need at the start.

How does an operating lease differ from a finance lease?
On an operating lease the car stays ours, you pay for using it and hand it back at the end. On a finance lease the client buys the car out at the end — that is a separate programme, rent to own.
What documents do I need?
A passport, a driving licence and the deposit.
Not required: proof of income, credit history, Yellow Slip or bank statements!
Do I need a down payment?
No. A deposit equal to one monthly payment is enough, and it comes back when the contract closes. An upfront payment is optional and lowers the monthly amount.
What if I drive more than the contract allows?
You pay for the excess mileage at the rate written in the contract. We check the odometer at every scheduled service so the amount does not pile up towards the end of the term.
Can I end the contract early?
Yes, but an early termination penalty applies. If you need the freedom to walk away at any moment, take monthly rental instead.
Can the lease be in a company name?
Yes, the contract is signed with the legal entity and invoices are issued with VAT. For companies with several cars the terms are discussed separately.
Who pays for repairs?
Scheduled servicing and tyres are in the payment if you chose them. Faults that are not your doing are our concern — the car is ours. Damage caused by the driver is covered by full cover or paid under the contract.
Car leasing in Cyprus: how it works
Who leasing suits
Car leasing in Cyprus is chosen by people who need a car for a long time but do not need to own it: an expat here on a two-year contract, a company giving a car to an employee, or a family that would rather pay a fixed monthly amount than put fifteen thousand euro down at once. You can lease a car from us with a passport and a licence — no Cypriot credit history required.
Operating lease and finance lease
An operating lease is essentially long-term rental with servicing: the car is registered to us and you pay for using it. A finance lease assumes you buy the car at the end; in Cyprus that is a regulated activity, so we arrange it as a rental with a purchase option.
How much a car lease costs
The payment depends on the car, the term and the mileage in the contract. Toyota Yaris 1.0 starts at 159 € a month without VAT for 36 months at 9,600 km a year, Toyota Aqua at 176 €. That is the winter price of the full package: insurance, full cover, road tax, MOT, servicing and tyres. Summer is higher — demand for cars in Cyprus triples in season.
Can I buy a car on lease
Strictly speaking you cannot buy a car on a lease — you take it for use. If the point is that the car ends up yours, rent to own is the fit: a down payment from 10%, a fixed monthly amount and a buy-out price fixed in the contract on the day of signing.
